In search of a 100% natural deodorant that works without irritation or darkening your armpits?  We crafted this baking soda free natural deodorant completely free of all the junk commonly found store bought deodorants like parabens, alcohol, aluminum, propylene-glycol, mineral oil and chemicals.  Instead, our Natural Deodorant is made with nourishing raw butters and oils, natural odor illuminators like arrowroot and Diatomaceous Earth and natural fragrance from organic essential oils.

Diatomaceous Earth is a powdered substance made from a soft sedimentary rock that occurs naturally in the environment.  It is almost entirely silica which is a crucial trace element needed by the body.  DE has odor-eliminating properties as it pulls toxins from the body.  DE is gentle enough for sensitive skin containing a neutral pH.

Both DE and Arrowroot powder absorb wetness and sweat-breading bacteria keeping your armpits dryer for longer. Not to worry.  They are not antiperspirant which means your skin can still breathe.

Magnesium Hydroxide is used a broad-spectrum antibacterial.  It makes the pH of the skin more alkaline so odor-causing bacteria cannot thrive.  Magnesium Hydroxide is the perfect replacement for baking soda and actually works better by dissolving much slower and thereby absorbing sweat longer leading to longer odor protection.

DIRECTIONS

Hold to your skin under your arms for a few seconds to soften the top for a smooth application. Swipe a couple of times. DO NOT OVER APPLY.

This deodorant is NOT an antiperspirant so you will still sweat. Reapplication may be necessary depending on activity. If you've never used natural deodorants before, please allow for a period of adjustment. Your armpits are going through a detox so it may seem like the deodorant is not working but it is. Just be patient and keep reapplying. After a week or so your armpits will be begin responding and smelling great all day with just one application depending on level of activity.

    FAQs

    Do you use preservatives in your products?

    Many preservatives have a chemical component to them, including most vegetable-based preservatives.  Chemicals are toxic to the body even in small doses.  While we continue to search for a truly natural full spectrum preservative, we have found a natural compound that offers some preservative properties. Radish Root Ferment Filtrate is a natural antimicrobial derived from fermented radish roots. This will now be added to the formulations of all our products that contain filtered water and/or aloe vera.

    Butters and carrier oils have a natural shelf life of 1-2 years.  We also add essential oils and Vitamin E T-50 for their antifungal and antimicrobial attributes to help stave of bacterial growth, however proper care is important to keep product from going bad prematurely.  Please follow the instructions on the label for care and expiration information or contact us at info@justelivingnaturals.com for more information.

    Are your products safe for kids?

    Of course!  Since our products are made entirely out of 100% natural, hypoallergenic, chemical free and GMO-free ingredients, they are safe for every member of your family.
